Care by material

Each piece mixes its own found materials. Follow the tips for every material listed on your piece.
Glass beads
Wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Keep each piece separate so glass edges do not knock together, chip, or scratch.
Crystal accents
Handle gently and avoid abrasive cleaners. A soft, barely damp cloth can lift fingerprints; dry the piece right away.
Shell pieces
Keep away from perfume, hairspray, and household cleaners. Shell is delicate, so avoid soaking and protect it from drops.
Wire-wrapped designs
Pick earrings up by the hook or top bead rather than the shaped wire. Store flat and do not bend the loops back into place.
Porcelain beads
Treat hand-painted surfaces like tiny ceramics: wipe softly, never scrub, and keep them from striking hard counters or floors.
Stone beads
Use only a soft dry cloth. Skip ultrasonic cleaners and harsh chemicals, which can affect finishes and natural stone surfaces.
Gold-tone & silver-tone metal
Remove before bathing or swimming, and put jewelry on after lotion and fragrance. Wipe hooks and chains dry before storing.

Store pieces separately in a cool, dry place. Keeping chains untangled and each earring cushioned helps protect beads, wirework, and finishes.
